We believe a home is more than a collection of beautiful rooms — it’s a living environment that shapes how you feel, move, and connect every day. That’s why we created the FORMME Method, a framework that guides every design decision we make. It ensures that each space we craft is viewed through the lens of wellness, flow, and meaningful living.
This element of our design process explores productivity, creativity, and easy movement. Open layouts, flexible spaces, and thoughtful circulation make everyday life feel effortless.
We discover what this looks like for you (and your family) specifically. This might mean a corner of your bedroom dedicated to early morning movement or a full in-home spa — there is always a way to create this intentional zone, no matter the size of your space.
Spaces that bring people together. Living rooms, kitchens, and gathering areas are designed to foster conversation and connection.
This goes beyond a sofa and chairs — it considers how lighting influences mood, how unique and functional furniture placement enhances flow, and how storytelling through color and fabric becomes part of your home’s narrative. Maybe there’s a special set of dishware you love to use or a year-round outdoor living area you’ve dreamed of creating. We love exploring how to design spaces that help you do life incredibly with your people.
Spaces for rest and relaxation. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and quiet corners help you recharge and feel calm.
This may be the most important element of our design process. We spend a great deal of time exploring what rest means to you — beyond a comfy mattress. This step invites you to pause and consider how to create a rejuvenation zone that allows you to truly rest so you can show up in every other area of your life with excellence.
Often, this begins with organizational systems so that when we enter these zones, our minds can rest too. We’re big believers that when our spaces are messy, our minds aren’t at ease — and that belief guides many of our next steps to create true oases layered with goodness.
Spaces that support healthy living. Kitchens, outdoor areas, and wellness zones are designed to make nourishment and self-care natural and enjoyable.
This is one of my favorite parts of our process! My inner wellness guru lights up helping people explore new ways of connecting with themselves and others through modalities such as hot and cold exposure, breathwork, lighting, meditation, and spaces designed to nourish the soul. Think spas, gyms, outdoor grounding pads — and of course, kitchens where delicious meals and memories are made.
The elements that affect wellbeing: air, light, sound, and natural materials. Thoughtful choices here create healthier, calmer spaces.
The foundational step of the entire process truly comes to life in this phase. We explore how the materials in your space — flooring, cabinetry, insulation, paint, siding, tile, hardware, HVAC systems, and more — all play a vital role in the health of your home. Of course, it’s a lot of fun, because many of these pieces are beautiful to see, touch, and experience. They’re the details that bring everything together — whether you feel it or see it.
Spaces that lift the spirit. Areas for reflection, creativity, and mindfulness help you feel centered and present.
The cherry on top — the grand finale that truly makes your space yours. This zone is about whimsy, funk, and storytelling. It’s the art, color, dishware, candles, and small moments that spark joy. This step never truly ends — it continues to grow and evolve as you and your family do.
The FORMME Method isn’t just a design checklist — it’s a philosophy. It helps us create homes that feel alive, restorative, and intentional, where every detail works together to support daily life and wellbeing.
When we design through the lens of these zones, the result isn’t just beautiful — it’s transformative, making everyday living effortless, balanced, and deeply meaningful.
